DownAlong is at ground level; just inside the stable door there is a single step down. There are no other steps, making DownAlong more suitable for anyone with a slight mobility problem.
The shower room is to the left of the front door,
and the living room with kitchen area to the right along a short corridor.
The living room has a beamed ceiling decorated with horse brasses,
and a country cottage atmosphere enhanced by pine furniture, a bed-settee,
armchair, dresser, dining table and chairs, nest of tables, and footstool.
There is colour T.V, video recorder and 2 blank tapes provided so you need not
miss your favourite soap. Light reading material is also provided.

Pine units similar to those in UpAong blend with the rest of the pine furniture, and like UpAlong there is an electric double oven with grill, ceramic hob, cooker hood, under the counter refrigerator with small freezer compartment, also an electric toaster, kettle, microwave oven, and a good supply of cooking implements and utensils. We also supply items you do not normally find in self-catering accommodation { e.g. cling film, aluminum foil, washing-up liquid, Jeyecloths - a full list is to be found under amenities}so you need not burden the car down with items you will probably only need a small supply of.

The bedroom is romantically decorated with attractive lacy drapes around the double bed, patterned bed linen, pretty plates on the walls, and wall to wall carpet.
All linen is provided: the beds have duvets. We provide a bath towel and bath sheet per person, kitchen towel, 2 tea towels, apron, oven gloves, tablecloth and throws for the settee and armchair. If further linen is required we can supply it.
There is also a ceramic fan/heater in case of a sudden drop in temperature or conversely, if a fan is needed.
