A deposit of 25% of the total cost of booking is required. The remaining 75% becomes due 6 weeks before the start date of the holiday. We accept most major credit cards. Bookings are deemed to be provisional until the deposit is received. Provisional bookings are held for 3 working days only.

We regret that due to the stream and ponds, we are unable to accept visitors aged 5yrs and under. Older children are welcome but we must emphasise their safety is parents’ responsibility. Trefenten has a NO SMOKING policy indoors.

We accept a well-behaved small or medium sized dog by prior arrangement. A charge of £16 per week is made for pets. Dogs must be kept under control at all times, as the fences are not escape proof. This is farming country with fields of sheep nearby. Kindly observe both the country code and the beach code for dogs whilst on holiday; some infringements are covered by By-laws and attract a hefty fine. Please do not allow dogs on beds or chairs. Guests are requested not to leave pets alone in the cottages. It is unfair on the dogs as they become bored or frightened and this is when damage occurs. Damages will be charged for.

Cancelled bookings; Guests are liable for the full cost of the holiday if it is cancelled. Every effort is made to resell the cancelled booking and so reduce guest’s liability. Even if successfully resold there will still be a small administrative fee, and possibly agency fees as well. Guests are advised to insure their holiday at the time of booking.
